Next meeting
& buffet supper:

We will not hold an event in March 2020 as many people desire to reduce social contacts due to Covid-19.
We hope to hold our next event in mid-2020 and will update members once scheduled.

We gave a grant to formidAbility/Signdance Collective international, via NZ opera singer Joanne Roughton-Arnold in 2019 to assist with the production of Hotspur/Pierrot Lunaire; Hotspur is written by New Zealanders Gillian Whitehead & Fleur Adcock .
We gave a grant to Dr. Gerri Kimber in 2011 to assist with her costs of a research trip to New Zealand. Gerri was working on a 2 volume annotated edition of the fiction works of Katherine Mansfield, published in 2013. She sent us this letter of thanks, and also an account of her work in New Zealand in August 2011. We're delighted that Gerri was our speaker at our March 2013 function.
In early 2011 we collected around £1400 from our members to remit to Canterbury University towards their earthquake scholarship fund. We have received this letter of thanks from them.

The New Zealand Universities Graduates' Association was established with the objectives of furthering opportunities for graduates of New Zealand universities in the UK, establishing and suggesting useful contacts for members and visitors, maintaining a register of contacts, arranging social functions for members and partners, establishing links with Universities throughout New Zealand and the UK, and assisting in communications and providing guidance to University graduates from New Zealand in the UK.

We aim to meet three times a year for a social event that includes a guest speaker and a supper.  The October meeting incorporates our AGM.
